How Can We Help?
🔔 How to Enable and Configure After Hours Notifications
Ensuring that users are signed out after site hours is crucial for site security and compliance. Take5™️ Connect allows you to manage after-hours notifications to prompt users to sign out if they remain onsite past the designated closing time. This guide will walk you through enabling and configuring these notifications.
Step 1: 📍 Navigate to the Site Setting
- Once logged in, locate the Sites tab in the left-hand menu.
- Click on Sites to view your list of registered sites.
- Find the site you wish to configure and click on Edit to the right of the site name.

Step 2: ⚙️ Enable After Hours Notifications
- In the Details tab, locate the Enable After Hours Notifications toggle.
- Click the toggle to the right (it will turn pink) to enable after-hours notifications.

Step 3: ⏰ Configure Notification Timing
- Switch to the Settings tab.
- Scroll down to the After Hours Notifications section.
- Use the dropdown menu to select the time period after closing that notifications will be sent to Site Managers or Account Administrators. Options range from 5 to 75 minutes.
- Click Save to apply your changes.

Step 4: 🔔 Understanding User Notifications
- If a user remains signed into a site after its closing time, they will receive an automatic after-hours notification from Take5™️ Connect advising them to sign out.
- The first notification is sent 30 minutes after the closing time, and a second one is sent 60 minutes after the closing time if they still haven’t signed out.
- Notifications will list all sites the user is still signed into, including the site name, address, and closing time.
Step 5: 🛠️ Managing Site Manager and Administrator Notifications
- Site Managers or Account Administrators will receive notifications about users still signed into the site after the closing time.
- Notifications include the user’s name, company, email address, and mobile phone number.
- If SMS messaging is enabled for your account, after-hours notifications will be sent via text message. If SMS is not enabled, notifications will be sent via email and push notification. To enable SMS messaging, please contact support.
❓ Troubleshooting
- User Not Receiving Notifications: Ensure that the user has the correct contact information in their profile and that they are signed into the correct site.
- Notification Not Sent: Verify that after-hours notifications are enabled and configured correctly for the site.
- SMS Not Received: Confirm that SMS messaging is enabled for your account. If not, contact support to enable this feature.
