π’ How to Create, Update, Print, or Delete QR Codes

QR codes are used in Take5β’ Connect for touchless site access, sign-in verification, and streamlined safety compliance. This guide walks you through how to create, update, print, and delete QR codes in the platform. π
Step 1: ποΈ Go to the Sites Section
- Once logged in, locate the Sites tab from the left-hand menu.
- Click on the site where you want to manage QR codes.
- Click Edit to open the site settings.

Step 2: β Create a New QR Code
- In the site editor, click the QR Codes tab.
- Click + New QR Code.
- Enter a Name for the QR code.
- Optionally, add a Custom Message to display to users upon scanning.
- Select the Type of QR Code (e.g. In, Out, In/Out, Location)
- Click Save to generate the QR code. β

Step 3: π¨οΈ Print a QR Code
- From the QR Codes list, click View next to the code you want to print.
- A QR preview window will appeared
- Two QR Codes will appear, either branded or not.
- Right-click the image and select Save Image As.
- Choose your format (PDF or image) and print as needed.

Step 4: βοΈ Update an Existing QR Code
- In the QR Codes tab, click Edit next to the code you want to modify.
- Make your desired changes to the Name, Message, or Access Type.
- Click Save to apply changes.

Step 5: β Delete a QR Code
- Click Delete next to the QR code you want to remove.
- Confirm the deletion in the pop-up prompt.
β οΈ Note: Deleted QR codes cannot be recovered through the UI. Contact support for restoration options.

β Troubleshooting
- Canβt see the QR Codes tab? Ensure you have permission to edit the site.
- QR Code wonβt print? Try downloading it as an image or PDF, then print from your file viewer.
- Deleted the wrong QR code? Contact support for help restoring it.
