🔔 How to Enable or Disable Notifications
Take5™️ Connect allows you to manage various notifications to ensure that you receive timely updates relevant to your role. This guide will walk you through enabling or disabling specific notifications within the platform.
Step 1: ⚙️ Access the Configuration Settings
- Once logged in, click on the Settings icon located in the top-right corner of the page.
- From the dropdown menu, select Configuration.

Step 2: 🔔 Manage Notification Settings
In the Configuration section, you can enable or disable the following notifications:
Hazards & Risks
- You can choose to enable manager verification for Hazards & Risks reports or not

Project/Site Entry Notifications
- Under the Sites section you can toggle the option “Enable Auto-Sign Out from Sites” to on or off.
- As well as selecting the time duration for auto sign-out from sites
Note: Site entry notifications will be sent to Site Manager(s). If no Site Manager(s) are set up, notifications will be sent to Account Administrators.

Notifications
In the Configuration section, locate the Notifications section. Here you can turn on or off a few options:
- Enable Induction Completion Notifications for Administrators
- Enable 5-Minute Risk Acknowledgement Reminders
- Enable Manger Alerts for Unacknowledged Risks 5-Minutes after Sign-In
- Include the Main Account contact in all notifications
Note: Induction completion notifications will be sent to the main contact person. If no main contact person is selected, notifications will be sent to all Account Administrators.
Note: These notifications will be sent to users signing into a Project/Site if they have not completed the daily hazard/risk acknowledgement. Additionally, email notifications will be sent to Production/Location Managers (or Account Administrators if no Managers are set) 5 minutes after sign-in, advising that a user has forgotten to complete the acknowledgement.

❓ Troubleshooting
- Not Receiving Expected Notifications: Ensure that the relevant notification settings are enabled in the Configuration section.
- Receiving Unwanted Notifications: Review and adjust your notification settings as needed.
- Unable to Modify Notification Settings: Verify that you have the necessary permissions to access and modify configuration settings. If issues persist, contact support.
